Shangri-La Bangkok

The location of the hotel, close to the Taksin Spahan metro station, provided easy access to all the shopping malls in the area. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the congested bridges over the river made it convenient for exploring different parts of the city. A bustling market nearby added to the lively atmosphere.

Some previous guests mentioned that there were occasional issues with the cleanliness of the hotel, with dirty dishes left in public areas.

It's brilliant hotel and reasonably large, with impeccable staff and magnificent location near by areas. The atmosphere of the venue is exclusive.

The staff was courteous, the hotel was fairly clean and placed in a busy part of the city near the free shuttle ferry and SkyTrain and the river and public transport via the sky train services or the boat services. Even though the bed was hard, it was excellent stay.

The location was not great, had Wi-Fi was quite slow.

The friendly and helpful staff make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of dishes from different countries including fresh fruit and squeezed juices. We were particularly impressed by how clean the hotel facilities were, including the pool and breakfast area. we found the staff to be very attentive and sweet, made the overall experience even better.

The staff at Shangri-La Bangkok were incredibly helpful and polite. The hotel had good facilities and a high standard of service. We enjoyed a river cruise and buffet at the hotel, both of which were well-run and had fantastic food. The hotel staff catered as if there were more guests, and the desserts were out of this world. The receptionist arranged a taxi to the airport for us, and the porter even sorted out a better price for us. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Felt like our own home, nothing to complain about.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to public transportation. I also enjoyed the outdoor terrace for breakfast, it provided a lovely setting to start the day.

I was disappointed with the lack of complimentary travel services, such as a free boat ride across the river. It would have been nice if the hotel offered travel tours.

I recently stayed at the Shangri-La hotel for a week and it was absolutely fantastic! The location couldn't have been better, with the Chao Praya river right at my doorstep. I loved being able to easily explore the city using the nearby Skytrain station and public ferry pier. The hotel's Chi Spa was a true sanctuary, and the poolside was a great way to unwind after a busy day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet on the terrace had a wide variety of delicious options. The comfortable bed and breathtaking views from the room were the icing on the cake. I had a wonderful experience at the Shangri-La.

Had a wonderful Xmas stay at a riverside hotel. Loved the fine views from our balcony and the peaceful atmosphere. Great location, right next to the Sky train station and ferry terminal, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel also had its own piers. Enjoyed the convenience and beautiful sunsets.

Check-in process was slow and crowded, especially during the holiday season. The service felt impersonal and some staff members were not very helpful.

The quality of service at Shangri-La never disappoints. I was impressed by how efficiently they handled a big event/meeting , without compromising the quality of service. The variety of cocktails in the Horizon Club was enjoyable. I recommend this hotel with confidence.

Our stay was pleasant near the market and by the riverbank. Easy access to 'Taksin Spahan' metro station, which was convenient for shopping. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable, offering a wide variety of options. We were impressed by the excellent view from the bar at night.

Some aspects like the outdated decor and furnishing of the rooms and the variability of quality of staff could have been improved.
